Miss Paula Chesher
''I would like to thank all of the staff at the Alexander Veterinary Centre. My dog Butch has had many health problems and we have always received excellent service, a friendly reception and brilliant aftercare. Recently he was sick and when examined had a lump in his stomach. Surgery was performed and fortunately it was a hematoma in his spleen, the spleen was removed and he is now back to his old self. I feel that the staff really care about Butch and all the other animals they treat, they are all well trained, friendly and polite. The practice is kept very clean and tidy.''

''We've taken all our animals to Alexander Veterinary Service over the years, ever since the days when they had the smaller surgery further down Hartington Street.''
Recently our 18 year old cat Gizmo developed a high grade tumour on his back left leg which ultimately resulted in an amputation. We had no hesitation in agreeing to the operation as we knew we were leaving him in the best possible hands, knowing he would receive the specialist care and attention he would need. The encouragement and support from the entire team, from receptionists to veterinary surgeons was exceptional through what was a traumatic time and the level of aftercare Gizmo has received has been of the same high standard.
We have always been made to feel comfortable from the minute we walk through the door and nothing has ever been too much trouble for anyone. We owe you a massive thank you for everything you've done for all our animals over the years but especially Gizmo who is now happier and healthier than he's been in a long time – he's like a 5 year old cat again!
The practice is a credit to you all and you should rightly feel very proud of what you do and what you've achieved – we really can't thank you enough!''

''Alexander Vets have been our choice of veterinary clinic since they first opened and we as a family had our first pet. The treatment of each of them received over the years was and is second to none. Our Mini Yorkshire Terrier, Penny, sadly died last year aged 16. The care and attention given to her and us at that time was much appreciated. Lara, our White German Shepherd is and has been a regular visitor at the surgery for the past few years, since becoming blind and now having issues with her hips. Lara trusts Gill implicitly and makes her visits to the surgery a comfortable one. The staff are always friendly and polite, making a trip to the surgery a less distressing/traumatic experience for any pet and their owner. We would highly recommend them to anyone.''
''Alexander vets have looked after my pets for many years and I would not have any other. Everyone I meet at the surgery and speak to on the phone are friendly and very helpful. My dog Lady has recently needed lots of investigations and treatment which was done with great care and consideration. Lady is now fine and enjoys going back for her check ups and to see her friends. I would recommend Alexander's to anyone who really cares about their pets.''
''Over the years I have had excellent help, advice and care from the professional vets and staff at Alexander Vets. Their personal and individual care of all my dogs, past and present, gives me great peace of mind whenever treatment or surgery is needed. I know they are in excellent hands. My little Yorkie, Teddy was only one year old when he needed both his hips and knee operating on. With the vets skills and supreme care he is now happily running around. I would like to say thank you to all the vets and staff at Alexander Vets.''

''I have known John for over 14 years, during this time he cared for my dog Rex, who had a lot of problems. A surgery is not the most pleasant place to visit, but with the smiles from the receptionists and vets, the visits with Rex made me feel at ease.
John was always smiling and had such an easy manner with Rex, he would reassure me that he would get the best treatment if necessary. John is an excellent vet, caring and compassionate, his manner suits any occasion, good or bad, makes you feel special. I have a new dog Fudge, and would not hesitate to take him to see John if I had any problem.''

''We have been with Alexander Vets since they first opened and all our dogs and guinea pigs have been given excellent care and attention. We have had five dogs who have all lived to 14 plus years, and during all those years the dogs have had many varied illnesses. The vets at Alexander Vets have never failed in their diagnoses and treatment, and with great skill care and dedication have brought them through. We have now only one dog and one guinea pig left. Troy the guinea pig is seven and healthy as could be. Heidi our poodle is fourteen and has had an awful lot of treatment for all kinds of illnesses the likes of which I have not come across in my time as a dog owner! Alexander Vets have succeeded to pull her through each time.
A very big thank you to all the team you will never know how much we appreciate your kindness and skill.''

''Recently our rabbit Thumper developed a large mammary tumor. As Thumper is nearly 9 years old we feared the worst, but when we brought her to our vet at Alexander Vet Centre she thought an operation was doable as Thumper was otherwise fit and healthy. The care and attention we all received from the vets involved and the receptionists was absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. So thank you to you all for giving us more precious time with our wonderful pet.''
''We have been taking our Labradors to the Alexander Veterinary Centre since 2003. The vets have always dealt with the dogs’ various ailments with the utmost skill, patience and understanding.
Our latest dog, Daisy, was a frequent visitor for her first few months, suffering from a variety of distressing and unpleasant illnesses. During the course of various treatments all the staff at the practice were kind, caring and utterly professional. Having benefitted from the top quality care they provide she is now an extremely fit and energetic 2 year old! I am confident that whenever we take Daisy to the Alexander Vet Centre she is in the safe hands of experts who care.''
